Creasura Blog · For business leaders

Becoming AI native: a customer journey.

Northstar already used AI everywhere, and still rebuilt last week’s status every Monday. Here is how Creasura helps turn that into owned, verified, measured work, told as one leader’s conversation, with the trace behind every turn.

By Creasura · November 2, 2026 · 6 min read · 25 key moments from a 91-turn conversation

Most companies already “use AI.” Sales drafts proposals with it. Engineers write code with it. And yet, on Monday morning, the leader still goes around the room asking what happened last week. AI helps each person. It doesn’t yet help the business run.

Here are 25 key moments from one leader’s conversation with Creasura: Maya at Northstar, from that Monday frustration to four workflows that each have an owner, a clear finish line and real measurement. Two switches show a one-line note on each turn and the trace Behind the scenes.

From AI that helps each person to AI that helps the business run.

Maya

1 decision needs you

  • Status kept current
  • Approvals where it matters
  • Done is verified, not assumed

The journey in four steps

  1. Understand

Describe the problem. Agree what ‘done’ means.

  2. Rehearse

Walk through a real case. Set who approves what.

  3. Run with guardrails

Creasura does the routine work. People approve what matters.

  4. Measure & expand

Check what improved, then add the next workflow.

The first session begins with a business problem

Maya · Turn 01

We already use AI across the company. Sales writes proposals with it. Engineering uses coding assistants. But I still spend Monday mornings asking everyone what happened last week. What would change with Creasura?

What’s happening: Recognizes a discovery request and frames the discussion around business outcomes.

Let’s start with one of those Monday conversations. What are you usually trying to find out?

What’s happening: Asks which recurring management problem matters most.

The second session builds a shared understanding of the company

Creasura reads a sample of real onboarding records, which stay in Northstar’s own tools. Maya confirms that Lena owns the whole onboarding outcome.

Creasura · Turn 18

We’ll record that distinction. We also found two definitions of completion. The project template says “kickoff completed.” Lena says “first successful production sync.” Which should govern this workflow?

What’s happening: Explains the ownership correction and exposes the conflicting completion definitions.

The assessment makes the starting point visible

Asked where Northstar stands, Creasura lays out strengths and gaps one dimension at a time.

Maya · Turn 23

Can you show me an overall readiness score?

What’s happening: Recognizes the request for an aggregate readiness score.

We can show progress across these dimensions. A single score would hide important differences. Onboarding could have reliable context while still needing human judgment for scope decisions. We also shouldn’t label an unrecorded measure as poor performance. Where evidence is missing, we’ll mark it unknown and start collecting it.

What’s happening: Explains readiness by dimension and distinguishes unknown from weak.

Behind the scenes · no tool call

Creasura responsibility

Return dimension-level evidence coverage and gaps. Recording a measurement plan is separate from claiming those measures already exist.

Chapter 4 · 2 of 9 turns

Workflow one starts with a rehearsal

Creasura rehearses the pilot on Harbor’s case: conflicting sources go to the person who decides, and escalations go to Lena first, then to Maya.

Creasura shows Maya the proposed operating plan.

Onboarding pilotAgreed behavior
Starts whenA standard integration customer has a signed agreement
Accountable ownerLena, customer success lead
May executeApproved internal task creation and status updates

Escalates whenAn unresolved dependency threatens an agreed milestone
Finishes whenProduction evidence and Lena’s acceptance confirm success
MeasuresTime to first value, coordination effort, waiting time, rework, and total cost
Creasura · Turn 36

We’ll rehearse examples with Lena and engineering, including a missing requirement and a failed update. They’ll see how to correct the record, take over a case, and pause execution. We’ll begin with supervised cases and review the exceptions before expanding authority.

What’s happening: Proposes supervised exercises and explains the team’s responsibilities.

Behind the scenes · no tool call

Creasura responsibility

Record the rehearsal plan and results when available. Creasura keeps simulation outputs separate from live customer work and does not widen authority automatically.

Because the intended outcome is fewer late permission failures. Release tells us the change shipped. The next cases tell us whether it helped.

What’s happening: Explains why release does not close the improvement objective.

Behind the scenes · no tool call

Keep release evidence separate from measured effect. Creasura closes the outcome only when the specified evaluation and review conditions are met.

Workflow four prepares the account team for renewal

As Harbor’s renewal approaches, Maya asks about the customer relationship.

Creasura assembles Harbor’s history for the account manager, keeping what is proven apart from what is only assumed.

Maya · Turn 78

Could we automatically offer a discount if the account looks unhappy?

What’s happening: Explores whether discounting could be automated.

The journey in short

Northstar didn’t become AI native by adding more AI. It got there by writing the work down: who owns it, what “done” means, what may run on its own, and what actually changed. Then it kept that record current and checked it.

  1. Start with a business problem, not a tool. The first question was about Monday meetings, not models.
  2. Make the work explicit. One owner for the outcome, one agreed meaning of “done,” and links back to the sources.
  3. Rehearse before running. Walk through a real case, and refuse to switch on until setup is complete.
  4. Keep people in charge. Approvals, commercial calls and priorities stay with the people who own them.
  5. Measure, and stay modest. Early results are directional. Time saved is capacity, not cash, until spending changes.

The result is a different Monday. Routine progress lives in shared records. The meeting is for trade-offs, exceptions and the next improvement to try.
